We welcomed all our students back after the holiday break. Teachers will spend time this week reviewing procedures and expectations to get everyone back into the school groove.
While there is no snow on the ground, it is cold outside. Warm coats, boots, gloves, hats, etc. are needed to enjoy outside recess. Once there is snow on the ground, boots and snowpants are required to play in the snow.
Students stay inside if the temperature is below zero. This includes windchill.
No school for students on Monday, January 20th. This is an inservice for teachers.
The first semester ends on January 17th. The only changes we have in the elementary is our 5th graders will change their health and computer classes.

--January 17th - End of the 1st Semester
--January 20th - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - No School for students
February is I Love to Read Month. Lots of activities will be scheduled throughout the month to celebrate our love of reading.
